"GENEALOGY OF THE BOSTWICK FAMILY IN AMRICA - THE DESCENDANTS OF ARTHUR BOSTWICK"
Compiled by Henry Anton Bostwick, New York, 1901.
Published by TUTTLE ANTIQUARIAN BOOKS, INC,
28 South Main Street
Post Office Box 541
Rutland, Vt 05701.
The compiler, Henry A. Bostwick is No. 5408 in the above book, which book is used as the basis for Bostwick/Bostock genealogy prior to No. 2210, Jabez Abel Bostwick (1830-1892).
It appears that Osmer did not have a surname. I have given him the surname BOSTOCK in order to not confuse the computer software.
On page 31 of the above book, under the title 'BOSTOCK LINE', appears the following entry:-
"1 OSMER, owner ofShipbrook, Davenham, Bostock, Audlem, Crewe,
all in Chester (Cheshire) County, England, as entered in
the "Domesday Book," 1080 A. D., as having held these
places at the time ofthe Conquest by William of Normandy."
