On page 31 of the above book, under the title 'BOSTOCK LINE', appears the following entry:-

the "Domesday Book," 1080 A. D., as having held these
places at the time ofthe Conquest by William of Normandy.

of Warren Vernon, Baron of Shipbrook."
7 WARREN, (WARINE), married Hawise, (Havissa),Countess of
Lincoln, in her own right, widow of Sir Roger de Quinci,
and daughter of Hugh Kevelioc, Palatine Earl of Chester.

8 SIR GILBERT(or HENRY) married Elinor, daughter of Robert,
Poole, of Cheshire.
9 SIR WILLIAM. Lord of Bostoc, Knight,(Tem. Henry III. 1216-1272),
married (1) Elizabeth, daughter of James, Lord Audley and Heleigh;
(2) Amice, a widow.
He was one of the jurors who tried David, brother of Llewellyn,
Prince of Wales.
10 SIR EDWARD, (or PHILIP), Lord of Bostoc, occurs Hen. III. 44 and 54 (1260 and 1270),
married Maria, daughter of Matthew de Vernon."
11 SIR ADAM (VII), Lord Bostok, Knight, occurs as living 3 and 15 Edw. II. (1310 and 1322)
and 7 Edw. III (1334), married Joan, daughter of William be Brereton."
