George Conrad Kohl [b. ca 1719?] and Maria Barbara Fisher were married on 27 April 1745 in Lancaster, Pa. Recorded at the Moravian Church seven miles north of Lancaster in Lititz is recorded a marriage on 16 Apr 1745 between Conrad Kohl and Barbara Fisher. Probably the same marriage was recorded in the churches on different days--his church and her church. A Conrad Kool [spelling by ship's officer], age 24 arrived at Philadelphia on the Lydia from Rotterdam on 19 Sep 1743. Another list gave his name as Conrath Kohl. On 20 Sep 1743 he took the oath of allegiance.

Manorland, George and Maria Barbara lived, was 4 miles west of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, perhaps in the vicinity of the Manor Ridge of today.
