Bessie mentioned to family members on many occasions that her mothers family, Seaborn, was very prominent in Macon, Cass Co., Ga. Nothing has been found to verify this however, family pictures showing how they were dressed would indicate they were financially comfortable. Her grandfather, James Calvin Bush was a Judge in Dooly County, Georgia.
