William born 1731 ; was High Sheriff Co. of Limerick, 1775, and Mayor of Limerick the same year--the only time on record ; married Jane, daughter of Richard maunsell, of Ballywilliam, Co Limerick, (by Helena, his wife, daughter of Daniel Toler, of Beechwood, father of John, first Earl of Norbury,) and had issue--one daughter,--married W. Faulkener Minchin, of Annagh, Co. Tipperary, and three sons--
1. William Gabbett, of Caherline, his heir;
2. Joseph Gabbett, barrister-at-law ;
3. Daniel Gabbett, of Strand House, Limerick,
