Alexander immigrated from Ireland in about 1745 with his wife, children, and brothers . Their port of entry was Philadelphia.
He was Scotch Presbyterian.
In
Alexander lived four years in Lancaster Co. Pa. He then moved to Rockingham Co, Va. On Jan 11, 1775, he was old and informed and in Rowan Co. NC. At his death, his son, Alexander, received his plantation and he seven other children each received 1/7 of the remaining property.
