The family of William Spiers Kennedy (d 1924) had the immigration experience to the New World twice - 1892 and 1904 having gone back to England (Belper, Derbyshire) for a few years running a confectionery shop there. They are pretty much intact though in Winnipeg in 1906 after which there was a great dispersal.

Also I am curious about the mother of the brood finding her way back to England yet again to die in Buckinghamshire and get herself buried in the Quaker cemetery there. It happens I know this place well as my company's English headquarters was in Beaconsfield 2 miles from this burial ground which is where William Penn is buried. Then the father of the brood managed to get himself down to the Philadelphia area (yet again after their 1890's experience there) to die in Wilmington Delaware (DuPont Country) and be buried in Philadelphia, 1924. Were these last minute travels to insure burial in some place of note in Quakerism?
