BRAY, Fannie Ann
The death occurred at the Pines in Bracebridge on May 12, 1975 of Fannie Ann Bray. Miss Bray was 96. The deceased was born in Stephenson Township on September 17, 1878, the daughter of the late Daniel Bray and Matilda Madill. Miss Bray was predeceased by three brothers: Wells, Allum and Fred. She is survived by three nieces: Iris Bray of Huntsville, Geraldine (Mrs. James Ward) of Sundridge, Joy (Mrs. Herb Anderson) of Sundridge; nephews: Earl Bray of Brampton and Pete Bray of South River.
Miss Bray had been a school teacher and was a former member of Madill Church. For many, many years Miss Bray was the Martins Siding correspondent for the Huntsville Forester.
A funeral service was held at the Addison Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14th, 1975. The service was conducted by Rev. James Oben of Trinity United Church. Interment followed at the Madill Church cemetery. Pallbearers were Jack Laycock, Clifford Snell, Rowland Snell, Douglas Sproat, Nelson Wilston and Douglas Hale.
