Leonard and Eliza (Bradley) Culp - October 1910
OBITUARY - On Sunday, May 9, 1937, Eliza Jane Bradley, beloved wife of Leonard Culp, passed away at the Red Cross Hospital, New Liskeard. Death came suddenly after an illness of only two weeks, although the deceased had not been enjoying good health for a number of years.
The late Mrs. Culp, who was forty-nine years, one month and twelve days old, was born in Muskoka District in 1888. She married in 1910 and lived the first few years of her married life at Port McNicol and Victoria Harbour, where Mr. Culp was employed. They came to Northern Ontario where they lived on their farm in Hilliardton for the past twenty-three years.
Funeral services were conducted from the Thornloe Church by Rev. C. Higginson, assisted by Captain Pindred. Interment was made in Thornloe cemetery. Pallbearers were W.D. Bradley, I. Culp, H. Deline, E. Melitzer, T. Morley and G. Mills.
