GORDON, George McLennan
After a short illness, George M. Gordon of New Liskeard died on September 14, 1996. Mr. Gordon was born in south Africa on July 1, 1913 to Edward and Georgina Gordon. He was educated in Toronto and later moved to New Liskeard from Mississauga. He married Lila Grace Simmers in May 1942 in Toronto. Mr. Gordon was a retired electrical foreman. He is survived by his wife.
Funeral arrangements were made by Perrin Funeral Home in New Liskeard. The service was conducted by Reverend Ivan Dambrowitz. Burial was at Milberta Cemetery. Pallbearers were Burke Dew, Andrew Muir, Bryan McNair, Jeff McNair, Don Leggett and Eric St. Louis.
Relatives and friends attended from Thornton, Mississauga, Toronto, Belleville and Minden.
