OBITUARY - Lewis Alexander Johns, 88, of 1448 Lincoln Rd., died Friday in Metropolitan Hospital after a long illness. Born in Clarence Creek, Ontario, he resided in Pembroke until coming to Windsor 37 years ago. He was retired in 1955 from Hiram Walker and Sons, Ltd., where he was employed as a stationary engineer for 18 years. He was a member of Emmanuel United Church.

His wife, Sarah Spiers, died in 1950. He is survived by two sons, Charles Wilburn, of Windsor, and George Elmer, at home; four grndchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Victoria Memorial Park.
