OLD CORKERN-GREEN CEMETERY, Washington Parish, Louisiana
LOCATED: On Crown-Zellerbach land in Washington Parish, near the Bouge
Chitto River & Corkern-Green Lake. This cemetery is located near the
St.Tammany Parish line. The cemetery was partially fenced, and was very
much overgrown. Many graves are unmarked, and other markers were broken
or completely gone. Because of the dense growth, it was impossisble to
judge how many unmarked graves were in the cemetery.
