William was seen in the Petition of 1809 to the Congress along with other residents regarding matters pertaining to the Mississippi Territory. William moved to Louisiana about 1838 with Thomas Bilbo. He is found on the 1840 and 1850 Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana Census, as William Thomas Bilbo with wife, Laura.

In the 1840 Census of Marion County, Mississippi, Jackson is listed with one male 30-40, one male 15-20 and one female 20-30. He moved to Catahoula Parish, Louisiana where he appears in the 1850 census with wife Rachel, Ellen Pase, Age 12 and Julian Ann Pase, Age 14. (These are evidently children by marriage.) He was last seen in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana in about 1858.

Nicholas served in the Rev War in the 2nd South Carolina reg. commanded by Lt. Colonel Marion, from Oct 7, 1776 to Nov 7, 1777, Card # 371944565. George, Nicholas's son was bound out after he was left an orphan once to a saddler and once to a carpenter. In about the year 1811, he left Va and went to Screven Co, Ga, where he appointed an attorney to take care of his affairs in Mecklenburg, Va Service records report that he enlisted as a private in war of 1812 in Capt. Willoughby Barton's company, Augusta Volunteer Rangers, 1st reg't, Ga militia on Aug 13, 1813 where he served until al least March 12, 1814. Then Sep. 23, 1814 he enlisted as 2 corpl in Capt. Thomas D. Carr's Co.of militia, 3 reg't Ga state troops commanded by Col. Ignatius A. Few. George and his sister both died young[Strahan Family Reunion .FTW]
