LEE, RUFUS C.
Died at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 1985, at Dixon Memorial Hospital, Denham Springs. He was 63, a native of Tylertown, Miss., and resident of Denham Springs. He was a painter and U. S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 8 a.m. to religious services at noon Wednesday, conducted by Dr. Joel Lucas. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Gloria Bello Lee, Denham Springs; a daughter, Sharon Blythe, Pascagoula, Miss.; five sons, Mark Lee and Harry Allen Page, both of Baton Rouge, Randall Earl Page, Las Vegas, Nev., Gerald Rufus Russell and Max Danny Russell, both of Pascagoula; a sister, Nell Lee Wilson, Magnolia, Miss.; a brother, Camon Lee Sr., Baton Rouge; and nine grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, J. C. and Ethel Lee. He attended Hebron Baptist Church, Denham Springs.

U. S. Army Service
Herschel Talmadge Gray served in the U. S. Army from January 11, 1951, to January 10, 1953. He in processed at Ft. Chaffee, Arkansas, and was assigned to the 5TH Armored Division. He reported to Camp Gordon, Ga., for his basic training. He went to Cook School there and then was assigned to the Camp Hospital as a Cook.

Services for Herschel Talmadge Gray will be held today at 3 p.m. at Sandtown Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Branning officiating. Burial will be in Sandtown Cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of Arrangements.
Mr. Gray, 64, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1993, at Riley Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Dean Gray of Philadelphia; a son, Gary Lee Gray of Jackson; a daughter, Macy Lynn Barnes of Pasadena, Texas; Six brothers, Ray Gray, Ross Gray, Dwight Gray, Perry Gray, Terry Gray, and Robert Gray, all of Philadelphia; Four sisters, Peggy Robertson of Brandon, Betty Morgan of Braxton, Mary Daniels and Martha Whittle, both of Philadelphia; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
