In the 1900 census Henry was listed as a 28 yr old farmer living in beat 4 with wife Nora Brady age 18 married 1 yr with no children. Living with them at the time was a boarder named William Bell, age 27.
In the 1920 PRC census Elizabeth was listed as a 44 yr old widow living in beat 4 on a farm with her 5 children; Hubert age 19, Hettie age 17, Eva age 16, Sarah age 14, and Manville age 8 1/2. Also living with them at the time were Elizabeth's son in law Norris Cuevas age 24 a logger.
Arve died while babysitting his grandson, Terry, While Terry's parents had taken his older brother, Charles, to the Washington Parish fair. When they returned home they found Arve sitting on the porch in his rocking chair with Terry in his lap. He was dead.
