Gillispie William [Male] b. BEF 1764 - d. 1794 Garrard County, Kentucky

William Gillispie was killed in a duel by Thomas Kennedy in the yard of the home which is known as 'Uncle Tom's Cabin'. This duel was recorded in a book by Winston Coleman under the title, 'Famous Kentucky Duels'.
