Hezekiah Slade represents that Charles Taylor, late of Marion County, died on the 6th day of July last, leaving a small estate. He left a widow named Ann Taylor and several children; the petitioner is a creditor and believed the largest creditor of the deceased. As the wife of the petitioner is a daughter of the deceased, Slade asks administration of the estate. Dated Sept. 20, 1853.

Sale of slaves of the estate of Charles Taylor: Keziah Culpepper resides in the state of Louisiana and petitions that the lawful heirs of Lucinda Taylor, if any, are unknown; if any have objection to the sale, they are to place a complaint. Dated Nov. 21, 185

The lawful heirs of Lucinda Taylor, deceased, are unknown. Burrell Rouse, Hezekiah Rouse, & Caroline Rouse are minors under 21 and reside with their father, Daniel Rouse, in Marion County.
