Mrs. Helen Korns, 54, of RD 2, Dover (Columbia), died early today in Union Hospital following a 4 - month illness. She was born near Dover, the daughter of Mrs. George Wallick and the late Mr. Wallick. A member of First Lutheran Church at Strasburg, she was also a member of the Lutheran Guild, Mothers Club and Willing Workers Class of the church. Surviving, in addition to the mother, is the husband, Homer S.; a son, Jerry, of the home; 2 daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Shirley) Mears of RD 2, Dover, and Karen of the home; one brother, Carver Wallick of RD 2, Dover; one sister, Mrs. Donald Neff of Dover, and 2 grandchildren. Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Toland - Herzig Funeral Home with Rev. James Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Daily Reporter, Dover, Ohio, December 21, 1961
