Cleveland hospital following an operation. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Allen Speir. Besides his widow, he is survived by two children, Robert and Helen Speir, at home, and a brother, Russell Speir of Cleveland. He was a nephew of the late Hugh Speir, of Frostburg.
