Mrs. Isabell (Bella) Speir, 78, of Carlos, died Saturday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, where she had been admitted June 18. Born in Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (McFarland) Stevenson. Mrs. Speir is survived by her husband, Hugh Speir Sr., two daughters, Mrs. Isabel Skidmore, Midlothian, and Mrs. Irma Jean Albright, Hagerstown; three sons, James Speir, Midlothian; Hugh and George Speir, both of Carlos; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Adams, Wilkinsburg, Pa.; three brothers, Thomas Stevenson, Turtle Creek, Pa.; George Stevenson, Carlos; and James Stevenson, Cumberland; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home. A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. Rev. R. W. Richendrfer will officiate and burial will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
