Maryland. FROSTBURG—William 'Goat' Morgan, 64, of National, a retired coal miner, died on Saturday night in Sacred
Heart Hospital following a brief illness. A native of Carlos he was a son of the late William Morgan and Mrs. Carrie (Speir)
Morgan, who lives in Carlos. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and Aerie 1273, FO Eagles. Besides his
mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Freda (Leader) Morgan. Also surviving are three sons, Russell W. Morgan, Barton,
Glenn Morgan, Loartown, and William G. Morgan, RD 1, National; two daughters, Mrs. Melvin E. Dye, Cumberland, and
Mrs. Ronald Burkey, Potomac Park; six sisters, Mrs. Mary Morgan, Cumberland; Mrs. Alex Conrad, Frostburg; Mrs. Louise
Ravenscroft, Midland; Mrs. Leonard Morgan, Grahamtown; Mrs. Fred Wilson, LaVale, and Mrs. Robert Warner, and 13
grandchildren. Hafer-Sowers Funeral Home. A service will be conducted tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev.
Leonard Ranson, pastor of the Frostburg United Methodist Church, will officiate, and interment wll be in Frostburg Memorial
Park. Pallbearers will be James Speir, Matthew Willets, Charles Keifer, James Anderson, John Hersick and Frederick
