She died on 6 Dec 2004 in Rockledge, Brevard Co., Florida. Shirley died at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge, Florida. She had moved to Rockledge in 1965. At the time of her death, her son Ronald was living in Gaithersburg, Maryland; Connie was living in Titusville; and William, Jr., was living in Rockledge. She had seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services were private
