Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Flanagan, 50, of RD 3, Rawlings, died Saturday at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born in Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Agnes (Scollick) Speir. She was a member of Dawson United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Donald R. Flanagan; a son, Donald L. Flanagan, Jr., at home; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Taylor, Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Hugh C. Speir, RD 1, Frostburg; and a sister, Mrs. Jane Kline, Portsmouth, Ohio. The body is at the Rotruck Funeral Home in Keyser where friends will be received after 7 p.m. today. A service will be conducted at the Dawson Methodist Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Merle Correll will officiate and interment will be in Waxler Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at noon Wednesday. The Cumberland Evening Times, April 12, 1971
