A. Allan Spier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Spier, 303 Schley street, received his degree in Medicine
at the University of Maryland graduation exercises held Thursday night at the Lyric Theatre,
Baltimore. Dr. Spier attended Allegany High school, Mercersburg Academy, and Johns Hopkins
University. Baltimore, before entering the University Medical School,_Hfi_wilLsgrve as interne at the
Medical Center, Pittsburgh, following a short vacation, with his parents. Dr. Spier is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Footer, Greene street. The Cumberland Sunday Times, March 28, 1943
