Mrs. Betty (Elizabeth) Winn Malcatson, who conducted a business service on North Liberty Street up until about 20 years ago when she moved to Hagerstown, died Wednesday at the National Institute of Health, Bethesda. She had been in failing health for three years. A daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Spier) Winn, this city, she is survived by a son and three grandchildren, two brothers and a sister, none of whom reside in this area. Her husband, a physician, died many years ago, Known to everyone as Betty Winn, she was a graduate of Allegany High School, the University of Virginia, and took post-graduate courses at New York Advanced Traffic School. She became a recognized specialist in motor traffic problems and represented some of the larger carriers before the Interstate Commerce Commission. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow 2 p. m. at the Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown. The Cumberland Evening Times, May 31, 1957
