died on 3 Dec 1962 in Oakland, Garrett Co., Maryland. Walter Harrison Hausman, 74, of 228 North Mechanic Street, died
yesterday in Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland. A native of Cumberland, he was a son of the late Jacob and Mary
(Handel) Hausman. His wife, Maye (Tucker) Hausman, preceded him in death. Surviving are four sisters, Miss Christina
Hausman and Mrs. Mabel Knight, both of Cumberland; Mrs. Ruth Dick, RD 1, Valley Road, and Mrs. Edward Brookman,
Potomac Park; three brothers, Henry Hausman, Columbus, Ohio; Gilbert Hausman, city, and Frederick Hausman, Charlotte,
N. C., and a number of nieces and nephews. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p. m. A service will be conducted at the funeral home Thursday, at 2 p. m. Rev. George Alfred Hazen, pastor of
Zion United Church of Christ, will officiate and interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. The Cumberland Evening
