He died on 21 Oct 1973. Frederick William Hausman 67, of National Highway, LaVale, died yesterday. He had
been in ill health for three years. Born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Jacob and Mary (Handle) Hausman. His
wife, Mary (Hammond) Hausman, preceded him in death. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ; East Gate
Lodge 216, AF&AM, and Cumberland Consistory of the Scottish Rite, and was a retired employe of the Celanese
Corporation at the laboratory in Charlotte, N. C. Surviving are a brother, Gilbert H. Hausman, city; two sisters, Mrs.
Margaret Brookman, Potomac Park, and Mrs. Mabel Knight, city. The body is at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home
where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be conducted
here at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. George A. Hazen officiating. Interment will be hi Sunset Memorial Park. East Gate
Lodge will hold a masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Cumberland News, October 22, 1973
