Eckhart, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Emma (Blocher) Wade. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel M. (Layman) Wade in October, 2001; and ten brothers and sisters. Mr. Wade was retired from the Celanese Fibers Corp., and he was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, Frostburg. Surviving are three daughters, Betty June Gable and husband Dwain, Frostburg, Lois Ann Wade, Keyser, and Carolyn Marie Wolf and friend Raymond Clark, Corriganville; three grandchildren, June Gable, Robert Gable, and Michael "Ed" Gable; one brother, Thomas Aden Wade, Harborcreek, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Family and friends can also go online at durstfuneralhome.com to send expressions of sympathy or find directions to the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday 11 a.m. with Pastor Michael H. Tamorria officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the services.
