Mrs. Lou E. Heinlein, nee Kummer, born Jan 28, 1871 in Belmont County, Ohio, passed
on to her spiritual reward Oct. 16, 1935, at 6:45 p.m.
Mrs. Heinlein came to Missouri in 1896 and after spending several years here
returned to her native home in Ohio. Shortly thereafter returning to Douglas County, Missouri,
where she was united in the holy bonds of matrimony with George Heinlein, a respected
and prosperous farmer of this locality. She was baptized and reared in the Lutheran Church
but after her marriage became a convert of the Holiness faith. Her life was spent in
faithful Christian service. Mr. George Heinlein preceded his wife in death about two years
ago. She is survived by two sons, Ivan T. of Ava and Louis D. of Springfield, Mo., and two
grandsons. She was 64 years of age. Besides her two sons and two grandsons,
Mrs. Heinlein is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Carrie Swegart of Springfield, Mo.,
Mrs. Rosa Heinlein of Ava, and one brother, Samuel Kummer, of Ava, Mo. Numerous
nieces, nephews and a host of friends mourn her earthly departure.
