Atkins James Hiter [Male]

He lived in King & Queen Co., Va. He owned 2 mills.
He & Anne lived in a small white house (according to Aurelia) which was
surrounded by beautiful spreading trees, possibly oak, in a cultivated area.

He played the violin & Noma played the organ & they sang together. They
performed all over that part of the state. Noma was an accomplished musician.

Hiter did everything. He farmed, tended general store, made coffins, preached
at funerals, worked the mill. Hiter & Anne were well read & passed that on to
their children.

He died of consumption.

He may have been born 11/25/1846 - Giles, VA - uncertain of this.
