Hite James Alford [Male] b. 27 JUN 1842 - d. 12 DEC 1917

Known as Jim.
He was a farmer. Also, he served in the Civil War. He served from 1861 - 1865.
He was a private in Company D of the 59th Regimant of the Virginia Infantry.
He was with Gen. Lee's forces at Appomattox at the time of the surrender. He
was severly wounded with a bullet in the neck but survived.
