He worked for United Metalic Cartridge. He was married twice.

In 1879 Bridgeport Directory - ice cart driver living on 120 Middle St.

He must have come over from Germany (mid 1800's) - & were from Alsace-Lorraine
& were protestants.

1890 Bridgeport Directory - Driver for H. Ice Co. and living on 240 Maple St.

In 1900 Census - they were living on 1141 Kossuth St., Bridgeport, Ct.. - still
a driver for H. Ice Co.

Family at that time consisted of Anna (wife), William (son) and Louisa
(daughter-born in Germany).

1910 Bridgeport Directory - still living on 1141 Kossuth St. and employed by
city.

He died between 1910 and 1920.
